Between January -April 2008, Rachel Beth worked as an Artist in Residence at the University of Brighton, Lighthouse Brighton, and Furtherfield in London. She was brought to UK from San Francisco as part of a series of residencies for the Distributed South initiative. Projects and research Rachel Beth was working on during this residency included tracking the motion of knitting needles in both physical and virtual space, knitting with the Nintendo Wii, creating a knit zoetrope, and trying to define the space between body and machine. | |
